Q2 2024 Performance of Top iOS Food Delivery Apps in the US

As the food delivery industry continues to evolve, Sensor Tower provides valuable insights into the performance of key players in the market. In the second quarter of 2024, five major food delivery services on the iOS platform have shown varying trends in user engagement and downloads in the United States.

Just Eat - Food Delivery experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at roughly 3.1K in the first week of April and dipping to about 2.2K in mid-April. Downloads saw a rebound in late June, closing the quarter at approximately 2.7K. Weekly active users declined over the quarter, from 8.7K to 8K.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste maintained a relatively stable download rate, beginning the quarter with about 1.9K downloads and peaking at approximately 2.3K in the last week of June. The app's weekly active users steadily grew from 38.6K to 41.9K, indicating a positive engagement trend.

Deliveroo: Food & Shopping showed a slight increase in downloads throughout the quarter, from 1.6K to 1.7K. The number of active weekly users saw minor fluctuations but ended the quarter with a slight increase from 21.4K to 21.4K.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery witnessed a decrease in downloads early in the quarter, dropping to 1K in late April, but recovered to around 1.7K by the end of June. Weekly active users experienced a gradual decrease from 36.6K to 35.3K.

HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery had the lowest download numbers among the group, with downloads fluctuating between 600 and 800 throughout the quarter. However, the app's weekly active users showed a more positive trend, rising from 11.5K to nearly 12.7K.
